This CLE has been approved for 1 law and legal MCLE credit. Activity ID: 2002070
In this webinar we will discuss how to determine 1) whether your client is eligible to be removed from the sex offender registry, 2) whether they will need to file a petition to get relief, 3) what law applies to a petition for relief, 4) how to prepare a petition, and 5) what to expect at a hearing on a petition. If time permits, there may be some brief discussion on how the sheriff’s office determines a person’s level on the registry and if that determination can be challenged.
