In this CLE we will discuss SB 5415 and representation of clients after being found not guilty by reason of insanity. Attendees will hear about the post-commitment process and how to set clients up for success if pursuing a not guilty by reason of insanity defense.
Featuring Jennifer Bartlett
Jennifer Bartlett is the Managing Attorney for the 10.77 program at the Washington State Office of Public Defense (OPD). Prior to joining OPD, Jennifer worked at the Snohomish County Public Defender Association for 12 years where she handled misdemeanor, felony, appeals, re-sentencing, and NGRI cases. She earned her B.A. at American University and J.D. at Roger Williams University School of Law. During law school, Jennifer worked as an intern at the Snohomish County Public Defender's Association and the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Fall River, MA.
